thefeemaster (www.thefeemaster.com) is a new sportcentric company, developed by sports industry veteran Paul Nelson, which this year celebrates its 25th anniversary.
The idea for thefeemaster came to Paul when he realised at one point, with three children, he was making 63 payments per year for their activities, all through different mechanisms, none online.
Constantly chased for payments he had already made, Paul decided there had to be a better way, and thefeemaster was born
Paul founded sportcentric itself in 2000 , developing and hosting websites, ecommerce systems and bespoke online administration systems for International and national sports federations, as well as their associated bodies and businesses. sportcentric was a pioneer both of user-managed systems, cutting out technical intermediaries, and the hosting of systems ‘in the cloud’ as opposed to on servers located and managed by clients locally.
With offices in London and Lausanne, sportcentric’s client list has included the English Football League, International Cricket Council, International Gymnastics Federation, International Hockey Federation, International Skating Union, UIM – International Powerboating Federation, 6 Nations Rugby, European Rugby, UK Athletics, British Swimming, Welsh Rugby Union, Principality Stadium, Stade de France, Gloucester Rugby, West Bromwich Albion FC, Coventry FC, Motherwell FC, British Superbikes, Association of Summer Olympic International Federations, General Association of International Sports Federations, Sportaccord, World Games, amongst others.
